TERMS OF SALE
A deposit of no less than 50% of the TOTAL
sales price is required in order to hold a bird. In addition, it must be received within 7 days of the request. If
payment is not received within the 7 day time period, the bird(s) will be
released from the agreement and be available for sale.
Deposits are non-refundable and will be accepted via PayPal, Credit Card
(through PayPal), Postal Money Order, cash or Personal Check (personal check is
the least preferred method of payment). When paying by personal check, bird(s)
will not be released until the check has cleared bank. If paying via PayPal,
3.5%
will be required to be added to the TOTAL sales price in order to cover the PayPal
transaction fees.
Unless other arrangements are made, payment-in-full must be received within 30
days, otherwise the sale will be considered null and void and the bird(s) will
again be available for sale.
Shipping is an option at J & A Aviaries. Costs include the approved container and any other actual shipping. Shipping costs may vary due to choice of Shipper, but average fees are approximately $25 for crate and $125 to $160 for the airline fee when shipping. Delta does have weather restrictions as it applies to shipping animals.
**NOTE: Many birds develop into better quality adults as they mature; therefore, prices on babies and juveniles are subject to change without notice. The best way to lock in a price on a young bird is to fulfill your purchase agreement with a deposit within 7 days of your commitment to purchase.
